The New Mexico Acequia Association's annual Congreso de las Acequias is the largest gathering of acequia leaders in New Mexico. Our agenda will feature a special panel presentation that will walk us through the history of acequias, our current state of affairs and trends, and end with two very different versions of the future, both of which will depend on the actions we take now. The event will also include two concurrent workshops, "Water Sharing in Times of Scarcity" and "Ask the Experts: Tips on Making the Best Use of USDA Programs".
