Location: Closed Rail Station St. Francis Drive & Zia Road
Description: Saturday's Long Run starts at 8:00 AM. Beginners always welcome. 10 to 90 minutues out. Try to run at least 1 minute slower than your goal pace and faster on the way back. The Saturday long run starts at the closed rail runner express station at the intersection of Zia and St. Francis Drive. There is parking across Zia next to the rail trail. There are restrooms at the Albertsons across St. Francis and a Starbucks. Long runs not only increase your ability to store glycogen, they also allow your muscles to conserve glycogen by burning more fat. Get a jump start those New Year resolutions.

A $3.00 per person (16 years and older) entrance fee does apply to enter the monument. Programs are offered daily.
